You know that feeling when you spend way too much money on something, and you regret it the minute you get home? That’s how I feel about expensive makeup. When it comes to makeup for me, I want it to be good quality and be good on my skin, but I also don’t want to spend over $30 per item. Well, I have found the best drugstore makeup that acts as good as, or better, than high end makeup. So, here are the dupes I have found!
I’ll be honest, primer was always something that I told myself I’d never actually use or purchase. Well I decided to give in to try it, and I love it! After moisturizing my face, I use about a dime size amount of primer and rub it all over my face. Priming the face allows your makeup to stay in tact all day, even after I workout, I still like my makeup is mostly still in place. At the end of the day, I feel like my makeup still looks really well!
I have used the same foundation for years, and it will probably always be one of my all time favorites. This foundation acts as a very high end product, and stays on my face all day long. I would say it is better than some high end foundations. It is easy to apply and very soft on the skin! I also linked the foundation sponge I love!
I don’t think concealer is totally necessary, but I do like to use it most days. I love the Maybelline ($7) concealers and feel like they work just as well as the Tarte ($25) concealers.
Okay, this one is tough for me because I love my MAC eyebrow pencil ($21), and always will love it, but I do use something a little cheeper when I am running low or want to mix things up. While I was at Ulta a few days ago, I found this product ($10) and actually like it almost as much as my MAC pencil.
Okay this palette I found is amazing. It as 8 matte colors, 7 shimmer colors, and includes 6 highlighting colors($22). I felt that the money was worth spending on this because it included so many colors and varieties all in one. I love that it is all together in one palette so I don’t have to search through my makeup bag for individual shadows. The colors are very pigmented and blend on the eye very well! I would compare it to the Urban Decay Heat palette ($54).
This may as well be a high end Mascara because it is kind of amazing. The product is better than most high end mascaras iv tried at Ulta. I will probably never use another mascara in my life! This is my ride or die Mascara!
Contour and Setting Powder:
I like to use powder to contour my face to give more dimension and warm up my face. I like using this palette because it has both dark for contouring and light powder for lightening under my eyes, nose, and chin. It is very easy to blend together to create a natural look.
I have found a lipstick that is a perfect neutral color for everyone. It stays on for a long time, and goes well with anything you wear! Color-Sphynx
-And there you have it, some affordable, yet very durable makeup dupes. These products might not be some peoples favorite, but I have done a lot of research to see that these are what most people prefer from drugstore products. Hope you enjoy!
