On Top of the World!

FullSizeRender (3)
In this series of things that make you feel on top of the world, we will be discussing it various categories such as mentally, emotionally, physically, even stylishly! Today we are addressing STYLE! What is something you wear that makes you feel a little more on top of the world? Be thinking of an item that does that for you that you could share with us in the comments below as I share one of mine! SHOES. But more specifically BOOTS. It doesn’t seem very important what you are wearing, but if you’ve got on a nice pear of boots to hold it together with, you can feel in control and confident.

My friend Jen and I would frequently play ‘the shoe game’ while sitting on the metros of New York City. The point was for one of us to look at a stranger’s shoes and explain whatever possible information about them- whether that was their background, job, etc. It was always interesting after describing someone based off their shoes and many times looking at the person- feeling the description seemed to match up pretty well! Other times, the assumptions seemed to be way off!

What shoe do you wear most and what does it say about you? Would it be tennis shoes, sandals, sneakers, very well supported shoes, heels, boots, others? What does it say about you? I most often wear a brown pear of boots- they are comfy, easy to slip on, go with everything, have a cool color, keep the toes warm, and make me feel on top of the world!

Although a person’s style in NO way should define them, it can be a fun way to express your character without words:)

Don’t forget to comment below with your ‘on top of the world style item!’
